I also enjoy doing surface design on handmade felt and have been experimenting with different techniques. I had considered joining the SDA and even went to their website and sent an e-mail to the local chapter person for Montana. Received no reply. So I haven't gotten any further than that. Glad to know that other felters are involved. The winter issue looks very interesting. So perhaps I'll try again.
